Overview 

 

Englewood , CO is located in Arapahoe County . It has a population of 35,000. Englewood is a diverse place of modern and history, and home to an equal amount of singles, working families, and a popular home to many Millennials.

Incorporated in 1903, Englewood has a lot of history to explore! The Arapahoe Acres neighborhood is on the National Register of Historic Places. This subdivision contains 124 completely unique homes purchased by developer Edward B. Hawkins as part of the Revere Quality House Program. With its wooden street signs, staggering architecture, and a great deal of lawn art, this community is worth strolling through.

Englewood is also home to the historic 1915 Englewood Railroad Depot building Englewood Depot, a living museum of letterpress printing, typography, design, poetry, and art.

The Englewood Community Garden next door, where you can volunteer, register for your own plot, or just check out the homegrown produce.

The Gothic Theatre is a recently renovated art deco building. Originally built in the 1920s, The Gothic remains a classic Denver music venue.

 

 

Getting Around Englewood 

 

Englewood is a transportation hub with two light rail stops on the Denver regional passenger rail system and exceptional roadway access provided from all directions by US Highway 285 (Hampden Ave.) and US Highway 85 (Santa Fe Blvd.).  Bus service is provided by RTD, including the most frequent bus route in the region the 0, and the free Englewood Trolley that connects the Englewood light rail station to downtown Englewood, the medical district, civic center and Museum of Outdoor Arts.

Englewood boasts a diverse mix of employees with concentrations in health care, construction, retail trades, arts/entertainment, advanced industries and light manufacturing.
